Sawato FukuiJapanese-style PainterThere are rich changes in the four seasons in this northern earth,
and the sparkling wind blows through far aiming at the horizon.
Even if you ask for the destination, since it's far too infinite,
no one can answer.
However, nature sometimes shows a tough expression and sometimes wraps the residents and the travelers gently also.
I entrusted the glass with a paean to this clear and beautiful landscape.
This public art work is a stained glass entitled "The Sparkling Earth", which was produced based on the original painting drawn for Asahikawa Airport by Sawato Fukui, a Japanese-style painter born in Asahikawa city.
A paean to the beautiful landscape of the clear northern earth with rich variety of seasons is expressed.
