Artist's Message
Katsuhiko HibinoArtist, President, Tokyo University of the ArtsHistory is time, time is light, time flies like an arrow. We have built up history, accumulating time on the round earth moving round the round sun. A new history will be born by "HIKARIE" in Shibuya in 2012. A place where everyone gathers was not made overnight. There was a place to gather in Shibuya also 920 years ago (in 1092). That is a shrine. There was a device made with round straw like the round digital signage. It is the same that people feel as if they have advanced one step ahead by going through it as before. A video content that connects the past and the present. The new history of Shibuya can be disseminated only on the basis of the ancient times in Shibuya.
