History

1945: Born in Tochigi prefecture
1968: Graduated from Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tokyo
1980: Acquired a doctorate in engineering from the University of Tokyo
1991: Became Professor at graduate school of the University of Tokyo
2005: GS Design Conference was established, and he became Representative
2006: Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo, Professor at National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies
2011: Professor Emeritus of National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies
