Commentary

Donguri (Acorn) Nursery School is making its environment with "genuine-oriented", such as using solid cypress on the floor of the school without varnish, from their wish for the children to know good things and real things.
Since they wanted to install something beautiful for the new play room, they gave a request to CREARE Atami-Yagawara Studio, which has many achievements and high reputation in stained glass production.

The original painter is Mr. Tomoki Moriyama, who is also the original painter of the stained glass "Old Tale Momotaro (Peach Boy)" at Okayama Airport.
From the concept of the play room "Nature and Play", a carp and a pheasant is expressed with the theme of life, from the image of symbolic figures of an active living thing and a living thing with water.

We produced the work with keeping in mind how to combine Japanese image with Western technique of stained glass. We completed it with pop as well as with effective finish of stain baking, sandblasting, lead wire skill etc.

Will color, shape or something else of this stained galss be remained in the memories of the children, who go to the nursery school?
Hope they will enjoy it and be familiar with it.
