Naoya SakagamiArtistI designed and produced the signs at the floor, the front wall, the chandelier, the room name board, the EL, etc. with the theme of the image of "shape" and "sound" of the waves led to the shore at Izu sea.
Looking over Sagami Bay in front, looking at Mount Omuro and Amagi Mountains in the background, there is every seasonal fun in Izukogen, such as spring flowers, summer sea, autumn taste, winter sports. Mr. Sakagami was asked to think about the whole art design making full use of curvature with the theme of calmness, kindness and gentleness of nature, with the image of light and wind overlapping the rich nature of the sea and the forest in Izu.
[ Front wall ]
By using a marble that takes R as a theme of "wave" and incorporating stainless steel plates which also shaped R to synchronize with it, an image of the glittering waves of the sea was made and the melody from the sea is echoed.
[ Entrance floor ]
With the theme of "Drop of the sea", it used white granite with light blue Dalle de verre glass fitted in, and represents the drop of the sea which spreads quietly.
[ Entrance chandelier ]
With the theme of "Pearl shell", it represents the pearl shell glittering in the sea through natural light.
[ Lighting at Coffee lounge ]
The gentle curves of the two glasses evoke the edge of a shell. The light is changed by sandblasting.
[ Room display, Key chain, Sign of each floor ]
A theme color was applyed for each floor, and the number of waves expresses each floor also.
