In the summer of 1988, I was assigned to work at Sendai High Public Prosecutors Office and build the new office building. At that time, I decided to install mural arts, and I asked Mr. Ikuo Hirayama to create "Marco Polo Oriental Travel Party", Mr. Sagenji Yoshida to create "Sendai Illusion", Mr. Sawato Fukui to create "Early Spring in Mutsu". Production was requested to CREARE Shigaraki Studio, and then a masterpiece of Shigaraki ware was completed, decorating the entrance hall of the Sendai office building. Owing to the studio members' effort, the mural art was perfectly produced without any crack in all blocks, and completed on July 30, 1989. It was exactly a bressing from Heaven.
Those works have brought glory to the Sendai office building and still give courage and encouragement to the staff.
