23 talented art students from 6 countries in the world won the prizes

The screening meeting for the 45th International TAKIFUJI Art Award was held on September 25th. As a result of the screening, from Japan, 12 winners for Prize for Excellence and 3 for Special Jury Prize were selected. From the other 6 countries (China, France, Germany, South Korea, Singapore, United States), 6 winners for Prize for Excellence and 2 for Special Jury Prize were selected. Also, for those winners with particularly outstanding works, Grand Prize and international Grand Prize were awarded.

The International TAKIFUJI Art Award also awards the Grand Prize (for domestic students) and the International Grand Prize (for overseas students) to particularly outstanding recipients among prize for excellence. The 45th Grand Prize went to AGATSUMA Ryo (4th year student of Department of Craft, Metal Hammering at Tokyo University of the Arts, Japan), and the International Grand Prize went to Iris DAIBERT (Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design, Germany).
The winners of the other prizes will be announced on our website.

The winners from Japan and overseas will be presented with scholarships and certificates by TAKI Hisao, the director-general of Japan Traffic Culture Association.
