Catoonist

Born in 1922 and raised in Sakaiminato city, Tottori prefecture.
At the time of the Pacific War, he went to Rabaul, a fierce battlefield, and lost his left arm under the bombing.
After coimng back to Japan, he became a picture-story painter, then turned to a catoonist. Passed away on November 30, 2015 (93 years old).
His masterpiece works are "Gegege no Kitaro", "Kappa no Sanpei", "Akuma kun", etc. Has fans all over the world.
