Started production from the 1960's. After working on metalworks at his early stage and stone carvings since the 1980s, started adopting bricks as a material from 2000s. His strong will and works to pursue the root of sculpture art are highly appreciated. Professor Emeritus of Tama Art University.

Graduated from Tama Art University, Exhibited Kohdo Bijutsu Exhibition (since then exhibited every year except '03 and '09)

Received the 20th Kohdo Bijutsu Exhibition Prize

Received the 8th Kobe Suma Rikyu Park Award

Received the 4th Green Sculpture Award

Received Prize for Excellence at the 23rd Teijiro Nakahara Award
