Western-style Painter

Born in Aomori prefecture. After graduating from Joshibi University of Art and Design, she became a professor of Department of Fine Arts at the university, a professor of Graduate School of Art and Design at the university, and the president of the university. Known for her style based on blue called "Sano Blue".
